Introducing myself
I wouldn't know where to start.
My life a kaleidoscope in my heart.
No beginnings or ends,
chips both poignant and bright
sparkle my kaleidoscope's light
Bidden or not, past and future blend
golden memories send
moments and faces to my heart,
every blossom , the sun I've seen fall.
I've not lost, for I cherish them all
I don't "think" chronologically.
At times perhaps not even logically
to some who may do so.
I'm a tapestry woven so complex,
at times, to others, it may perplex.
Born in Wisconsin, (of this I'm sure!)
Rural, lived off the land that was pure.
I've traveled many places, and seen
myriads of faces, including my own.
Through many professions my best I have sown.
I don't know what tomorrow will bring,
I do know that at moments I'll sing.
I carry no resume, explanation.
You will learn to know me if you will,
meanwhile I have no magic pill.
My introduction to myself is a door
that is for you to explore.
